Associate Pharmacy Technician

Job Description Associate Pharmacy Technician at Providence Ambulatory Services in Portland, Oregon (Full Time / Day Shift). Responsibilities Performs all typical duties of a retail or call center pharmacy staff technician as defined by the Oregon Board of Pharmacy and local pharmacy drug outlet procedures. Fills physician orders for patient medications under a Registered Pharmacist's supervision. Communicates with and services the needs of the Retail, Mail Order, Specialty Pharmacy clientele. Required Qualifications Oregon Pharmacy Technician License upon hire. Or Oregon Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician upon hire. Background check required in compliance with Providence Health and Services-OR Human Resources policy #302 for assigned duties upon hire. Preferred Qualifications National Certification/CPhT. 1 year customer service.
