Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to formulate tailored treatment plans that reflect each client’s unique circumstances.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions utilizing methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
• Maintain flexibility in appointment scheduling, allowing you to accommodate client needs while balancing your own schedule.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure holistic treatment for clients.
• Document accurate clinical records following ethical standards and legal regulations, ensuring compliance with applicable guidelines.
• Engage in continuous professional development by staying updated with the latest research in mental health and participating in workshops.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work closely with diverse populations, including individuals, couples, and families facing challenges ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma and substance abuse. Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.
• At least 2 years of experience providing counseling services, preferably in an outpatient or clinical setting.
• Strong foundation in ethical guidelines and legal regulations governing counseling practice.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with your caseload and experience.
