Revenue Cycle Supervisor

Exciting opportunity for a revenue cycle professional ready to take the next step into leadership.

Our client, a well-established healthcare organization, is seeking a Revenue Cycle Supervisor to help lead the day-to-day operations of its billing and revenue cycle function.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has developed a strong foundation in medical billing, claims, denials, collections, and reimbursement and is ready to take on greater responsibility and visibility within an organization.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this individual will oversee daily revenue cycle activities, support and develop the billing team, identify opportunities to improve processes, and help ensure the organization is maximizing reimbursement and reducing revenue leakage.

Compensation: $60,000–$75,000 annually

What You'll Be Doing

• Oversee daily billing, accounts receivable, denial management, patient collections, and related revenue cycle activities.
• Ensure clean claim submission, timely follow-up, and strong cash flow performance.
• Monitor workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce revenue leakage.
• Serve as an escalation point for day-to-day billing and revenue cycle issues.
• Analyze denial trends, identify root causes, and help implement corrective action plans.
• Monitor payer reimbursement and help identify underpayments and reimbursement variances.
• Partner with finance and other departments to improve overall revenue cycle performance.
• Help develop and standardize processes, procedures, and best practices.
• Lead and support revenue cycle staff while establishing clear expectations and performance goals.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• Approximately 3+ years of relevant revenue cycle, billing, or healthcare financial operations experience , including supervisory or leadership responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of medical billing, coding, claims, collections, reimbursement methodologies, and payer processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Nice to Have

• Revenue cycle management experience.
• CRCR, CPC, CPB, Epic, or related revenue cycle certifications.
• Experience with Medi-Cal and Managed Care billing .
• Knowledge of both capitated and fee-for-service payment models.
• Experience with revenue cycle platforms such as Waystar, ClaimMD, Availity, or similar systems .
