Details Work in the Medical/Surgical ICU of a hospital setting 12-hour night shifts (3x12), 18:45 to 07:15 12-week assignment length Patient ratio of 1:2/3, with a 5-patient max in the unit RN will be one of two RNs working the unit depending on experience Uses Epic for charting Floating required to other units and other facility campuses within a 75-mile radius No block scheduling accommodations available Requirements Active RN license (Compact or OK State) required, pending licenses not accepted Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (PALS preferred) Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Epic charting experience required Community hospital experience preferred Previous charge nurse experience preferred Skilled in IV therapy, central/arterial/PICC line management, and blood product administration Skilled in ventilator management, ABG interpretation, and care of ventilated patients Skilled in titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, continuous IV sedation, and neuromuscular blockade Skilled in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, and 12-lead EKG acquisition Experience with CVA/acute stroke management and multisystem organ dysfunction care Valid driver's license or state-issued ID and a utility bill with matching address (dated within 3 months of start) required for consideration Two supervisory references required Additional Information Provide critical care nursing to medical and surgical ICU patients, including management of ventilators, drips, and invasive lines Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position Local candidates are not accepted Maximum RTO of 5 days per 13-week assignment; no holiday RTO accepted First-time travelers are not accepted for this position Former INTEGRIS employees must have a minimum of 1 year separation from the health system to be eligible American Traveler Job ID P-737087.
