Caruso’s Grocery, one of DC's hottest restaurants, is hiring a server! We are open for dinner Wednesday through Sunday. We’ve been fortunate to have the same core team since opening in May 2021 and are looking to add to our talented group of dedicated professionals.

Caruso’s Grocery is modeled after the classic, Italian-American “red sauce” joint. We have enjoyed a lot of success with positive mentions in Washingtonian, Eater, Washington City Paper, and more - and were listed in the top 10 in the 2021 Fall Dining Guide in the Washington Post and the Washingtonian’s #17 out of the top 100 DC Restaurants

Our ideal candidate is someone who is naturally hospitable, detail-oriented and excited to work busy services. Although serving experience is preferred, we are happy to train the right candidate. Fundamental wine and cocktail knowledge is a must, and we provide regularly scheduled paid beverage training to the team.

Servers can expect to average $35-$40/hour. Full and part-time schedules are available. Shifts start at 3:30pm and service is typically wrapped up by 11:00pm on weekdays and 11:30pm on Friday/Saturday. We are closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

Caruso’s Grocery is metro accessible (just two blocks from the Potomac Ave metro stop on the orange/blue/silver lines and serviced by the 32, 36, B2, V4 + M6 bus lines), and also adjacent to convenient residential parking.
