Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (1800–0600) | Every Other Weekend Required | No Call Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and execute provider orders within a 14-bed medical/surgical ICU setting
• Assist with procedures including intubations, central line insertions, arterial line insertions, and chest tube insertions
• Insert and manage foley catheters; perform trach cares, proning, and CRRT-related nursing duties
• Titrate medications including pressors and sedation; manage Impella and balloon pump patients
• Operate and monitor equipment including ventilators, Alaris IV pumps, and central monitoring systems
• Float as needed to overflow ICU areas, med/surg units, or a designated COVID/ICU overflow unit based on census

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Dakota or a compact state
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Demonstrated competency in central line cares, chest tubes, arterial lines, trach cares, ventilator management, proning, pressors, sedation, and Impella/balloon pumps
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) – required
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association) – required
• Proficiency with EPIC charting and Omnicell

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC certification preferred
• Experience participating in trauma codes, rapid responses, and code blues in a facility-wide capacity
• Familiarity working alongside intensivists, APPs, and respiratory therapy teams in a collaborative ICU environment
