Bayshore Animal Hospital is hiring an Associate DVM to join our collaborative, efficient, and welcoming team on the Oregon Coast. We're open to veterinarians at all stages of their careers-from newer grads seeking mentorship to experienced doctors looking for flexibility, variety, and strong team support.

We're known for practicing high-quality medicine with a "Say Yes to Pets" mindset. Because there is no nearby emergency hospital, we play an important role in supporting our community with a skilled team and a modern facility. Our doctors enjoy a wide range of cases, including small animal GP, exotics, and wildlife care, all within a culture that values teamwork, efficiency, and work-life balance.

The Team

• 5-veterinarian team with a strong, collaborative culture
• 4 Certified Veterinary Technicians (CVTs) plus a solid, experienced support staff
• Each doctor is supported by a 2:1 CVT/assistant-to-doctor ratio
• Team members are efficient, communicative, kind, and loyal
• Structured mentorship program with mentors at varying experience levels, ideal for early-career doctors

The Facility & Equipment

• AAHA-accredited hospital with Fear Free techniques encouraged
• 4 exam rooms
• Digital radiography, ultrasound, surgical laser, CO2 laser, full IDEXX in-house lab (we run a high volume of diagnostics)
• Oxygen chamber
• Fully paperless medical records (EzyVet)
• Dedicated break room with TV, quiet space, staff lockers, and snacks

Our Services

• Small animal general practice

• Soft tissue and fracture repair surgery
• Advanced orthopedic procedures (performed by highly skilled surgeons)
• Cancer treatment, including chemotherapy when needed
• Exotics and wildlife care through partnership with the largest local wildlife sanctuary

Schedule & Flexibility

• Full-time or part-time opportunities
• Flexible scheduling to support work-life balance

• Typically 30-minute appointments, with flexibility based on doctor preference
• Busy practice with a commitment to caring for as many pets as possible due to the lack of a local emergency hospital

Compensation

Our doctors are highly productive, efficient, and well-supported to do their best work. Compensation is tailored based on experience and schedule.

• Competitive base salary, range of $115,000 - $145,000 (depending on schedule and experience) + production bonus + Sign-on/Relocation Bonus (including online sales)
