This position involves providing specialized nursing care on a Medical Surgical Neurology unit within a healthcare facility. The role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care, administer treatments, and support patient recovery throughout scheduled night shifts.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Current Wisconsin Nursing License, education verification, NIHSS certification, CPR/BLS certification, and experience as a nurse.
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Position Description: Responsible for utilizing the nursing process in caring for patients across multiple inpatient units including Medical, Surgical/Pediatric, Orthopedic/Neuro, and Sub-Acute Units. Administers prescribed medications and treatments according to policies, documents care, develops and executes individualized patient care plans, and participates in departmental quality improvement activities.
• Additional Information: The position requires every other weekend and holiday shifts, and travel nurses will be expected to float between units as needed, supporting the patients overall care plan.
