If you want to grow, stretch, and do work that truly matters, Gong is the place to do the best work of your career.We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Manager, Equity Administration to lead Gong’s global equity programs through a critical growth phase, including IPO readiness and execution. This role will own the end-to-end equity administration function, ensuring compliance, scalability, and operational excellence across all employee equity plans.This individual will be a key cross-functional partner to Legal, Finance, HR, Payroll, and external advisors, and will play a pivotal role in designing and executing equity strategies aligned with public company standards.RESPONSIBILITIESLead the global equity administration function, including stock options, RSUs, and other equity-based compensation programsManage and optimize equity administration systems Drive IPO readiness for equity processes, including:Supporting S-1 preparation and disclosuresEnsuring compliance with public company reporting requirements (ASC 718, SEC disclosures)Establishing scalable processes and internal controls (SOX readiness)Partner closely with Technical Accounting to ensure accurate accounting treatment and reporting of equity compensationCollaborate with Legal on equity plan design, board approvals, and regulatory complianceWork with HR and People teams on equity grant strategies, employee communications, and education programsOversee cap table management and maintain accurate records of all equity transactionsCoordinate with Payroll and Finance to ensure accurate tax withholding, reporting, and global complianceManage external vendors, auditors, and consultants related to equity administrationSupport due diligence, audits, and valuation processes (409A and other valuations)Develop and document policies, procedures, and controls for equity administrationProvide leadership, mentorship, and development for equity administration team members (as applicable)QUALIFICATIONS 8+ years of experience in equity administration, including leadership responsibilitiesProven experience supporting a company through IPO readiness and/or public company equity administrationDeep knowledge of equity compensation accounting (ASC 718) and SEC reporting requirementsHands-on experience with equity management platforms (Carta, Shareworks, etc.)Strong understanding of cap table management, equity plan design, and global equity complianceExperience collaborating cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, HR, and PayrollExcellent project management and process improvement skillsHigh attention to detail and ability to manage complex, high-volume workflowsStrong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex equity topics to diverse audiences CPA, CEP (Certified Equity Professional), or equivalent certificationExperience in high-growth, late-stage private companies (pre-IPO) Preference for experience with Israeli equity awards and related tax/regulatory frameworks (e.g., Section 102)PERKS & BENEFITS We offer Gongsters a variety of medical, dental, and vision plans, designed to fit you and your family’s needs.Wellbeing Fund - flexible wellness stipend to support a healthy lifestyle.Mental Health benefits with covered therapy and coaching.401(k) program to help you invest in your future.Education & learning stipend for personal growth and development.Flexible vacation time to promote a healthy work-life blend.Paid parental leave to support you and your family.Company-wide recharge days each quarter.Work from home stipend to help you succeed in a remote environment.The annual salary hiring range for this position is $128k - $195k USD. Compensation is based on factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, qualification, education, experience, and location. At Gong, we have a location-based compensation structure, which means there may be a different range for candidates in other locations. The total compensation package for this position, in addition to base compensation, may include incentive compensation, bonus, equity, and benefits.
