Server Position at Pericos Mexican Restaurant, Inc.ServerReports to: Shift Lead/FOH ManagerFLSA Status: Non - ExemptJob Scope:Ability to serve guests quickly, efficiently, and courteouslyMust have superior customer service skillsMust be able to plan, organize and multi task and maintain work station in a clean and orderly mannerEssential Functions:Anticipate guests needs and fulfill such needs prior to the guest requesting themLearn and convey large amounts of information to the guests regarding the food and drink menuMust consistently display a warm and friendly dispositionDeliver drinks between 2 and 3 minutes and food between 6 & 8 minutes for lunch and 8 to 12 minutes for dinnerConstantly operate a touch screen point of sale system to accurately enter food and drink ordersAble to move quickly maneuvering through a crowded dining room while carrying a tray full of hot plates weighing approximately 25lbsRemain in a stationary position for up to 50% of a scheduled work shiftMust be open to receiving instruction and altering behavior to adapt to instruction givenSpeak English clearly and accuratelyPhysical Demands:The employee must consistently lift and/or move up to 25 poundsSpecific vision abilities required by this job include Peripheral visionWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hearThe employee is frequently required to stand, walk, handle or feel and reach with hands and armsThe employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawlAdditional Responsibilities:All job duties are subject to change as deemed necessary by managementEmployee is required to comply with attendance and tardiness standards established by managementEmployee is required to comply with all safety proceduresEmployee is required to use proper body mechanicsEmployee is required to perform other job duties as requested by their supervisor
