Overview:

Location: South Hill surrounding areas.

• TOP PAY RATES - $20-24 per hour
• Currently hiring for all shifts ( daytime and weekend coverage highly preferred )
• Full-time and part-time available

Current Priority Shifts:
• Weekdays (flexible afternoons, approx. 4pm–8pm): Dementia support in a memory care setting
• Sat–Tues (10am–2pm): Client requiring Nurse Delegation, including diabetes management

As a Caregiver for TheKey, you’ll assist your clients 1:1 with the following activities inside their homes: 

• Personal care: dressing, bathing, grooming and assisting with meals
• Light housekeeping: basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing
• Transportation: Driving clients to appointments, running errands, and grocery shopping
• Companionship: games, puzzles or other activities that provide social and emotional support
• Additional care may include support for clients with dementia and/or specialized medical needs based on assignment

At TheKey, we pride ourselves on hiring compassionate caregivers who meet the following eligibility requirements: 

• At least 6 months of professional caregiving experience
• CNA or HCA, or able to get certified within 120 days from date of hire
• Nurse Delegation (including diabetes care) strongly preferred for select cases
• CPR certification required
• Alzheimer's or Dementia experience
• At least 18 years of age
• Basic computer skills
• Driver for clients (with vehicle, car insurance and registration)
