Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) is needed in Glenview, Illinois. The position involves rotating start times between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m., with the PACU end time at 8:30 p.m. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This role supports acute care hospital settings and demands a minimum of 3 years of solid PACU experience, including critical care PACU expertise. Candidates must have completed at least one travel contract and pass an Electrocardiogram (EKG) test with 80% or higher.

Job Details:

• Location: Glenview, Illinois
• Required Qualifications: Illinois Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). A minimum of 3+ years of solid acute care hospital experience, including critical care PACU experience, and at least one prior travel contract.
• Schedule: Rotating start times between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m., with 36 hours per week, consisting of 9-hour shifts.
• Floating: Will work main PACU and cardiovascular ICU (CVI) PACU (same manager/hospital).
• Weekend Requirements: Call for 2-24 hour weekend shifts during a 6-week schedule.
• On-Call Requirements: 4-5 weeknights (8 p.m. to 7 a.m.) and 2-24 hour weekend shifts during a 6-week schedule.
• Orientation: 4 hours (non-billable).
• Credentials Due Date: Wednesday prior to start date.
• Start Date: 07/12/2026
• Additional Information: Submission must include a passed EKG test with 80% or higher.
