Compensation: Up to $80 per hour

Job Type: Part-Time | 1 Day a Week | 7.5 Hours per Day

About the Role:

As a Part-time Speech Therapist, you will provide targeted speech and language therapy, conduct evaluations, and support students in alignment with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Your work will help strengthen students' communication abilities and contribute to their overall academic and social development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized speech and language therapy in accordance with students' IEPs, tailoring interventions to meet specific needs.
• Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify student strengths and areas for growth, documenting progress in clear, comprehensive reports.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during IEP meetings to review student progress and adjust therapy goals and strategies.
• Work with classroom teachers to integrate therapy techniques into daily learning activities, promoting consistent skill development.
• Support and guide parents on their child's therapy program, fostering a collaborative approach to student growth.
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with relevant laws and regulations, ensuring timely submission.
• Stay current on research, best practices, and evidence-based strategies in school-based speech therapy to enhance effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a Master's Equivalency.
• New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) Speech-Language Specialist Certificate (SLS).
• Current Child Abuse, Federal, and State Clearances.
• Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
