What You'll Do:

• Assess and prioritize patient needs based on age, symptoms, and psychosocial factors
• Re-assess patients systematically to monitor progress and identify trends
• Develop and implement individualized care plans aligned with Nursing Standards of Care
• Perform timely interventions and document procedures, including point-of-care testing
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members, physicians, and patients
• Participate in patient and family education, discharge planning, and quality improvement initiatives
• Assist in orienting new staff and contribute to a positive work environment
• Float to various Med/Surg departments as needed under the supervision of unit leadership
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, including dress code (grey scrubs) and EMR documentation in EPIC

What You Need:

• Required:
• Current RN license in New Mexico or Compact state
• BLS Certification via AHA
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts, with flexibility for weekend and on-call shifts
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Preferred:
• Experience in Medical/Surgical units with a nurse/patient ratio of 1:5-6
• Ability to adapt to multiple units and contribute to team goals
• Demonstrated professionalism and a team-oriented attitude
