Key Responsibilities\nAs a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at Dorchester Counseling Center, your key responsibilities will include:

- Developing and implementing individualized therapy strategies tailored to the unique needs of each client. \n
- Conducting thorough clinical assessments and evaluations to establish treatment plans that are both evidence-based and supportive. \n
- Providing therapeutic modalities, including Individual Therapy, Group Sessions, Family Counseling, and Couples Therapy, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health. \n
- Utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to meet diverse patient needs. \n
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care that addresses various aspects of a client’s well-being. \n
- Maintaining accurate and current clinical documentation in accordance with ethical guidelines and legal requirements. \n
- Engaging in ongoing professional development through workshops, training, and seminars to stay informed on the latest mental health research and practices. \n
Dorchester Counseling Center serves a diverse client base, including adults, adolescents, couples, and families. Our caseload includes individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and relationship issues. Qualifications\nTo qualify for this role, candidates must have the following:

- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field. \n
- Active, unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois. \n
- A minimum of two years of experience in counseling, with a preference for experience in a clinical setting. \n
While not mandatory, the following experiences are preferred and would enhance a candidate’s application:

- Specialization or significant experience in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use disorders. \n
- Previous experience in a remote or telehealth counseling environment. \n
