Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors. Pay Rate: $18.03 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorizations, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access to the property, inspect incoming and outgoing traffic as directed, and report irregularities or unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and promptly communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
