Salary Range: $50,000 - $82,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across St. Johns seeking Maintenance Technicians who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and ensure operational safety.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and implement effective solutions.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company regulations during maintenance operations.
• Order and manage inventory of spare parts and necessary tools.

Recommended Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and best practices in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs and CMMS software

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CMMS software for work order management and preventative maintenance scheduling.
• Certification or formal training in a specialized trade (e.g., hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, robotics).
• Proven ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and P&IDs.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
