Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description

Operate nationwide dry-van routes from Jacksonville with HMD Trucking, running solo OTR lanes on predictable freight schedules. You’ll drive modern tractors under three years old equipped with APUs, inverters and sleepers, backed by reliable in-house maintenance for quick turnarounds. Expect weekly averages near 2,500 miles with mileage pay starting at 65 CPM plus safety, inspection and referral bonuses.

Key responsibilities:

• Safely haul dry-van freight across regional and national lanes.
• Perform thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs and paperwork.

Requirements & highlights:

• Valid CDL-A and at least 12 months of verifiable driving experience.
