Packaging AssociatePosition Overview: As a Packaging Associate at Krosswood Doors, you will be responsible for packaging finished door units, verifying order accuracy, and preparing products for shipment. This role requires a hard-working, reliable, and punctual individual looking to build a long-term career in manufacturing and logistics. You will be expected to work with speed, accuracy, and consistency as well as maintain a team-player mentality and commitment to safety, quality, and product protection.Core Responsibilities:Package finished door units including slabs, pre-hung doors, and assembled systemsApply protective materials (foam, cardboard, wrap, straps, corner protectors)Ensure packaging meets standards for damage preventionVerify orders prior to packaging and shipmentConfirm correct product, quantity, and configurationMatch work orders to physical productMaintain quality standardsInspect doors for visible damage or defectsSupport production throughput (TPUT)Meet daily and hourly targetsPrepare products for shipping and stagingLabel, stack, and stage materials properlyMaintain safe and organized workspaceFollow PPE and 6S standardsWork cooperatively with team membersCommunicate issues immediatelyRequirements:Use packaging tools: tape machines, banding materialRead and understand work orders and shipping documentationBasic math skillsInspect finished products for accuracyCommitment to safety standardsWork well with team membersMaintain equipment properlyKeep work area clean and organizedReport discrepancies immediatelyReliable work history preferredStand for 8+ hoursLift 45–75 lbs regularlyStrong communication skillsWhat We're Looking For:Hard-working and dependableAttention to detailPositive attitudeWillingness to learnAccountability for quality and outputWork Environment:Fast-paced manufacturing and shipping environmentExposure to packaging tools and materialsPhysically active roleCompensation:Bi-Weekly PayRate: $17 or more DOEMedical, dental, vision and other supplemental insurances availablePaid time off, paid company holidays, and 401k planLocation: AZ Krosswood DoorsFull-Time/Part-Time: Full-TimeEOE Statement: We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
