Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to residents under the applicable plan of care, including evaluation, treatment implementation, and progress monitoring.
- Develop, adjust, and progress therapy plans targeting activities of daily living, mobility, upper-extremity function, and cognitive engagement to promote independence.
- Document therapy sessions and outcomes accurately in the chart; communicate frequently with the interdisciplinary team and participate in care conferences as needed.
- Implement modification strategies and assistive device usage, ensuring safety, infection control, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy, social work, and other team members to support discharge planning and goal attainment for residents.

Requirements
- Active California Occupational Therapy Assistant license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting from an accredited program
- 1+ year of OTA experience preferred, ideally in SNF or acute care environments
- Ability to work in a skilled nursing setting and to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team
- Strong documentation and communication skills; proficiency with electronic medical records
- Availability for the listed shift and travel assignment
