Job Description
Join Our Dynamic ER Team as a Night Nurse!


- Shift: 12-hour Nights
- Schedule:
- 2 weekends per 4 weeks
- Holidays as needed
- Start Dates:
- 10/26
- 11/9
- 11/30
- 12/14

Unit Highlights:
- Emergency Room with 33 patient care rooms, including 25 equipped with cardiac monitors.
- Triage area features 2 triage bays staffed with Midlevel's and RNs or LVNs.
- High patient volume: average of 210 patients per day.

Requirements:
- Cerner EMR experience is a MUST. Indicate on your resume where you utilized Cerner.
- Certifications:
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1 to 4
- Must possess strong documentation skills and understand EMTALA regulations.
- Floating: No floating outside of the ER.

Support Services and Resources:
- Charge Nurse available 24/7.
- ER Techs with EMT, MA, or CNA experience assist with tech duties and EKGs.
- Rapid response support:
- RT available 24/7.
- Pharmacy support 24/7 with Omnicell.

Additional Information:
- Common diagnoses: Routine/typical ER patients; STEMIs, hemorrhagic strokes, and pediatrics are sent out.
- Orientation: Up to 6 shifts with a preceptor provided.
- Scrub Color: Navy blue (jackets and undershirts must be navy, white, or black).

Cancellation Policy:
- Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for assignments under 13 weeks.
