Full Cycle Recruiter

DMF Lighting is seeking an innovative, highly organized, and results-driven Full Cycle Recruiter to join our HR team. In this role, you will own and manage the end-to-end recruitment process while partnering closely with hiring managers and HR leadership to attract, engage, and hire exceptional talent. This position will play an important role in supporting business performance and organizational growth. You will be responsible for developing effective sourcing strategies, building talent pipelines, managing candidate relationships, and ensuring a positive and efficient candidate experience from initial outreach through onboarding. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, creative and resourceful recruiting professional who understands that effective sourcing is constantly evolving. You are comfortable using a variety of recruiting platforms, social media, networking strategies, and emerging technologies—including AI—to identify, attract and engage high-quality candidates. For the right candidate, DMF Lighting will consider in-office, hybrid, full- or part-time work arrangements. Compensation $72,000–$87,000 annually plus bonus eligibility, depending on skills, knowledge, experience, and qualifications. The posted salary range represents full-time; part-time compensation will be pro-rated accordingly. Key Responsibilities Own the full-cycle recruitment process, from intake and job description development through sourcing, screening, coordination of interviews, offer negotiation to onboarding and post-hire touchpoints. Partner with hiring managers and HR leadership to understand staffing needs, define candidate profiles, and develop effective sourcing and recruiting strategies. Develop and execute short- and long-term recruitment strategies aligned with business objectives and workforce needs. Draft clear, compelling job descriptions that accurately communicate position responsibilities, qualifications, and opportunities. Develop and execute sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, online databases, social media, Boolean searches, networking, employee referrals, job fairs, industry events, and other appropriate channels. Proactively build and maintain talent pipelines for current and anticipated hiring needs. Develop creative social media and employer-branding strategies to increase candidate awareness and engagement. Post and manage job advertisements across appropriate recruiting platforms. Screen, assess, and interview candidates to evaluate their qualifications, skills, experience, and organizational fit. Administer appropriate assessments and coordinate additional interviews or evaluations as needed. Maintain timely and professional communication with candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle. Track candidates through the hiring funnel and maintain accurate, easily accessible real-time information. Partner with hiring managers and HR leadership to facilitate informed hiring decisions. Extend and negotiate employment offers in accordance with company guidelines and applicable laws. Coordinate travel arrangements and interviews for candidates traveling from outside the local area. Conduct or assist with new-hire orientation and onboarding to ensure a smooth transition into the organization. Maintain communication, and check-in with both new hires and their manager at prescribed intervals to aid with retention and to identify potential performance, disciplinary or other concerns early. Establish and monitor recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, time-to-hire, hiring costs, sourcing effectiveness, and candidate retention. Evaluate recruiting channels and strategies using data and analytics to continuously improve effectiveness, efficiency, and cost. Assist with the research and allocation of recruiting resources and budget. Stay current on recruiting trends, sourcing technologies, social media platforms, and emerging tools, including AI-enabled recruiting solutions. Establish, measure and report progress toward recruitment goals monthly, quarterly, and annually. Create and support employer-branding, employee value proposition, candidate attraction, and retention initiatives. Assist with a variety of HR projects and initiatives. Crosstrain as a backup for other HR functions, for instance benefits, employee relations, leaves of absence, training, safety, performance management, compensation, employee development, policy, and employee events. Maintain strict confidentiality of candidate, employee, and company information. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years of HR experience , including at least 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience . Demonstrated experience sourcing and successfully filling positions across multiple functions and levels. Significant experience recruiting for Engineering, Sales, and/or IT positions is required. Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruiting processes, sourcing strategies, and industry best practices. Demonstrated ability to evaluate candidates across a variety of roles, functions, and seniority levels. Experience using multiple sourcing platforms, recruiting technologies, and candidate databases. Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). Strong understanding of current recruiting trends, particularly social media and digital sourcing strategies. Experience using AI tools to source candidates or enthusiasm to learn, embrace and incorporate AI effectively into recruiting workflows. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, networking, relationship-building, and negotiation skills. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong sense of urgency and ability to effectively prioritize competing hiring needs. Adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable both working independently and collaborating closely with others. Thorough knowledge of applicable employment laws and HR best practices. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. SHRM-CP, PHR, or related certification is a plus. These job duties summarize the position's primary responsibilities.
