HSE Program Manager

This role is accountable for leading the development of new HSE programs that mainly impact Plains' operations and engineering teams as well as maintaining, suggesting improvements for, and providing assurance on existing Plains HSE programs including four gas cloud based personal monitoring system, industrial hygiene, lone worker program, and process safety management (covered facilities as well as MOC / incident investigation for the company). Additionally, the role will support analyzing data to support Plains' risk management program. Supporting each of these activities the HSE engineer will provide and update existing recurring training modules. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. for the duration of their employmentBachelor's degree in Engineering or 5-10 years equivalent operations / HSE field supervisor work experience utilizing / supporting similar HSE programs.5+years of experience in HSE, Industrial Hygiene, Process Safety, or a related field.Knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry best practices.Experience administering Management of Change (MOC) programs.Experience with gas detection equipment and atmospheric monitoring.Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HSE management systems.
