Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a difference by supporting students' development and growth as an itinerant Physical Therapist for the upcoming school year. This contract opportunity spans from early August through the beginning of June, offering a full-time Monday-Friday schedule with regular daytime hours. Work onsite, providing vital PT services across all grade levels to a caseload of about 35 students.

You’ll play a pivotal role in helping students maximize their physical potential and achieve greater independence in their educational environments. This position offers stability and the fulfillment of watching students progress over the academic year.

Qualifications:

• Active and valid Physical Therapist license in the state required
• Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
• Ability to manage and travel between multiple sites as an itinerant provider
• Competency in goal-setting, documentation, and IEP participation
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with staff, families, and related service providers

Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services as outlined in student IEPs across assigned school sites
• Assess students’ physical capabilities and develop individualized treatment plans
• Track and report student progress; maintain thorough documentation
• Participate actively in multi-disciplinary team meetings and assist in developing IEP goals
• Provide consultation and training to school staff and families to support student carryover and safety
• Manage scheduling and caseload efficiently to ensure consistent student support
