Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Job Type Part-Time Workspace Hybrid About the Role This position will provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management services to children, adolescents, and adults. Responsibilities Conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication assessments Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications Provide ongoing medication management and follow-up appointments Monitor treatment effectiveness, side effects, and overall clinical progress Collaborate with therapists, families, primary care providers, and other members of the treatment team Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation Position Details 1099 independent contractor with possibility to grow into a full-time W-2 position 50/50 revenue split Flexible schedule Established group practice with administrative, billing, intake, and referral support Opportunity to build a consistent caseload across children, adolescents, and adults Hybrid work from home Telehealth and in office in Shelton medical building Requirements Active Connecticut APRN or PA license Current prescribing authority and DEA registration, as applicable Experience providing psychiatric medication management Experience treating children and adolescents strongly preferred Strong clinical judgment and collaborative approach to care 3 years or more prescribing experience About the Company Connecticut Counseling Group is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality mental health care to individuals and families across Connecticut.
