Immediate need for a talented Scheduler. This is a 13 weeks contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in San Rafael, CA (Onsite).
Compensation Pay Package: Please reach out for further discussion and negotiation Pay Rate: 21/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Shift: MondayFriday, approximately 7:00 a.m. 3:30 p.m.
- Scheduled Hours: 40 hours [Hours per Facility]
- Schedule and coordinate outpatient surgical procedures for approximately 20 surgeons across multiple specialties.
- Serve as the primary liaison between surgeons' offices, patients, anesthesia providers, and ASC clinical staff.
- Ensure all surgeries are scheduled according to ASC policies, surgeon availability, and block scheduling guidelines.
- Manage schedule changes, cancellations, and same-day add-on cases while maintaining efficient patient flow.
- Coordinate with anesthesia and nursing leadership to maximize operating room utilization.
- Maintain accurate scheduling records within the ASC scheduling system.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all applicable regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while working in a fast-paced surgical environment.
- Perform additional scheduling and administrative duties as assigned.
- Schedule: MondayFriday
- Approximately 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
- Hours may vary based on surgical volume.
- Occasional overtime may be required.
- Reporting To: Business Office Manager/Administrator
