Locum Cardiac Anesthesiologist

**Types of Cases:** 

The diagnostic and therapeutic areas encompass General Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Orthopedic Surgery, Urology, Gastroenterology, Catheterization Laboratory, Cardiovascular Surgery, Endoscopy, Otolaryngology, Spinal Surgery, with limited involvement in aortic surgery, no cardiac transplant procedures, and minimal thoracic surgical volume. Comparable case diversity is observed at both Aventura and Mercy hospitals.

**Majority Case Types:** The predominant areas of practice include Orthopedic Surgery, General Surgery, and Obstetrics/Gynecology.

**Required Case Types:** The cardiac cases managed comprise a combination of Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG), valve procedures, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), MitraClip placements, Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) ligation, and Electrophysiological studies.

**Shift Days:** The scheduled workdays are Monday through Friday, with shifts available from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, aligned with discharge order processes.

**Call Requirements:** Participation in on-call duties is mandatory.

**Weekend Requirements:** Weekend work is also required.
