DME Collections Specialist

As a DME Collection Specialist, you are responsible for reviewing patient account open balances, assign/review ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS code to outpatient medical records and handle appeal denials as needed to collect delinquent balance.

What will you need to succeed:

• 1-2 DME Collection experience
• 2-3 years of healthcare billing and coding support experience within Home Care Services preferred
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to use various computer programs and applications, IE EMR/EHR
• Ability to self-motivate and work independently.
• Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
• Bilingual Spanish a plus
• Medical Biller/Coder certification highly desired
