Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Job Details:

• Work 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM shifts with potential variation based on patient load
• No weekend coverage required
• Work every other holiday
• Up to 40 hours of RTO (requested time off) approved per 13-week contract
• Work at ambulatory clinic located at 1240 Lee Street in Charlottesville next to the main hospital
• May also work at Moser location at 2871 Ivy Road in Charlottesville (approximately two miles away)
• 3 years of experience required
• Virginia license required (eligible for temporary licensure if licensed in another state)
• Required certifications: ARRT T, BLS
• ARRT Certification required for therapy
• ARIA charting experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Prefer inpatient hospital experience but will accept outpatient radiation oncology center experience with TrueBeam and Aria
• Work with patients of all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Float within scope of practice within the facility
• Must provide references and copies of required certifications

This major academic medical center operates a comprehensive radiation oncology program with state-of-the-art equipment including TrueBeam technology and ARIA systems. The facility provides both inpatient and outpatient radiation therapy services across multiple locations, maintaining high standards for patient care and utilizing advanced treatment modalities. The radiation oncology department serves patients with various conditions and offers a full range of radiation therapy treatments in a teaching hospital environment.
