Test Technician

Acara Solutions is seeking for a Test Technician to work  ON-SITE with our client in Grand Prairie, TX.

Here's what you'd do:

• Performs various electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, or optical duties. 
• Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. 
• Works from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions. 
• Operates related equipment, conducts tests, and reports data in prescribed format. 
• Performs calibration and alignment checks, makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed, and prepares prescribed compounds and solutions. 
• Should be comfortable fabricating complex electronics with small tolerances and Quality Inspection throughout the fabrication process.
• The manager is looking for experienced fabricators who have outgrown the fabrication role.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $29.04 / hr.

Hours: 4/10 hrs/Week (1 st shift)

Length: Contract (12 Months )

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Science or Engineering.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Fabrication role
• Minimum of 1-year experience in Airframe Power plant Cert

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

• Experience with the following test equipment:
  1. Hand Held Multimeter
  2. Oscilloscope
  3. Benchtop power supplies
  4. Hand crimping tool
• Experience with Military Specification parts and ability to reference all needed tooling for class 3 Electronics Fabrication. 
• Experience with J-STD-001 or IPC 620 certification.
• Experience technicians who have performed work in an engineering environment or extensive fabrication for production.
• Certifications in IPC-A-610 and IPC J-STD-001

• Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
