Letter Subcontracts, POs- Place purchase orders of medium complexity in accordance with all regulatory (FAR/DFAR) and corporate compliance requirements for various complex subcontract (Cost Type, Incentive Type, Firm Fixed, etc.).- Perform price and cost analysis techniques in support of proposals and placements.-Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.-Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to secure the best terms and conditions.-Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities.-Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure procurement activities align with business goals.-Monitor and manage supplier performance, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and quality standards.- Maintain POs to ensure accurate and timely supplier delivery information.-Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance.-Identify and mitigate risks related to procurement and supply chain activities.-Ensure adherence to RTX Corporation’s procurement policies and procedures.-Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.-Problem solving capabilities that support driving an independent desk.Preferred locations for primarily remote work are: Arizona, California, Colorado, Massachusetts, Texas, and VirginiaQualifications you Must Have:A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experienceDoD procurement experience and knowledge of Federal AcquisitionRegulations (FAR/DFARS) – ability to place Purchase Orders over TINA dollar thresholdU.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations We Prefer:SAP/PRISM based environment experienceExperience with technical requirements of procured hardware and services – including Statement of Work (SOW) reviewExperience in written contractual authorization/vehiclesKnowledge and experience with Computer Hardware and Software placementPlease ensure the role type defined below is appropriate for your needs before applying to this role. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
