This is a night shift position: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30).

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery will provide comprehensive care in a Baby Friendly Facility, including LDRP and nursery responsibilities. Nurses will be cross-trained in labor and delivery, circulator roles, acute care nursery, and OB triage, and will also care for GYN surgery patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 patient care for labor patients and manage a ratio of 1:2 for cytotec inductions.
• Responsible for hearing screenings in newborns.
• Float to other units or campuses as needed based on staffing needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Active RN state license.
• Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP.
• 1 year of EPIC experience is required.
