Seeking a licensed Electrical Engineer based in St. Petersburg, Florida, to join a reputable architectural, engineering, and interior design firm. This role is ideal for a junior-level engineer eager to develop expertise in electrical design for large-scale projects, including senior living, healthcare, and multifamily high-rises. The position offers an opportunity to work on both new construction and renovation projects, contributing to high-quality engineering solutions within a collaborative team environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned electrical engineering projects, ensuring quality and client satisfaction.
  • Lead the engineering team to meet project goals and profitability targets.
  • Develop electrical design solutions for senior living, healthcare, and multifamily high-rise projects.
  • Conduct site visits to assess existing electrical infrastructure and provide solutions.
  • Participate actively in project meetings during design and construction phases.
  • Ensure compliance with design standards, practices, and policies.
  • Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated project outcomes.
  • Prepare and review construction documents and technical reports.

Job Requirements
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Florida.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical design within an architectural/engineering environment
  • Proficiency in power systems design, low-voltage design, and lighting design, including load calculations and code compliance.
  • Experience with outlet, data, and telephone layout design.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplined team environment.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with all project levels.
  • Commitment to quality service and engineering standards.
  • Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD 2020 and Autodesk Revit 2020.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
