The Opportunity

This role will serve as a key member of the corporate accounting team, supporting month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, audit support, compliance, and process improvement initiatives.

The position offers visibility across multiple accounting functions and the opportunity to work closely with leadership while developing a well-rounded corporate accounting skillset.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare complex journal entries and account reconciliations

• Participate in and support the monthly close process

• Analyze financial information and prepare supporting schedules and reports

• Assist with regulatory filings and audit requests

• Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, FERC, and internal control requirements

• Support accounting systems enhancements and technology initiatives

• Document and improve accounting procedures and internal controls

• Partner with internal stakeholders to support accounting and reporting needs

Ideal Background

• Active CPA license required

• 5+ years of corporate accounting experience preferred

• Public company accounting experience is highly desirable

• Strong understanding of GAAP, SOX, and financial reporting requirements

• Oracle experience preferred

• Strong communication and analytical skills

• Process improvement mindset with a desire to learn and grow within a large organization

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $100K - $105K
