Warehouse Worker (Part Time- Flex, Days)

Schedule Details This role operates on a flexible schedule based on business volume. Flex workers are mainly used to support high‑volume days, planned PTO coverage and high call‑off periods. Available shifts may vary by location and week. Candidate will be required to work one mandatory shift per week on Tuesday from 6:30AM - 3:00PM or until finish. Any additional shifts may be selected by the candidate. Create a schedule that works for you by selecting available shifts throughout the week Days and hours per week are flexible based on your availability and business needs but will not exceed 29 hours per average on an ongoing basis. Once a shift is accepted, candidates are expected to work the full scheduled shift and adhere to standard attendance expectations. Pay Pay rate: $20.61 per hour Bonus eligible: No Benefits: Paid time off in compliance with applicable laws Application Window Application window anticipated to close: 11/13/2026 About the Role What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers. You will receive and fulfill orders so our customers can have the products they need to take care of their patients. Responsibilities Follow established process to fulfill orders. This includes accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment. Cross‑training in multiple areas of the warehouse and participating in projects as needed. Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment. Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required by job duty. Example equipment in the facility includes order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider. Qualifications We are open to candidates with little to no warehouse experience. If you are comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal‑oriented environment you could be a great fit for our team. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Comfort working with heights 20‑30 ft regularly Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift Must be flexible to work overtime as needed. Ability to follow direction and change priorities Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to work in a fast‑paced distribution environment while meeting established performance quotas and attendance requirements. Experience working with technologies, like computers or point of sale systems, a plus High School Diploma/GED preferred Basic proficiency in English is required, including being able to read and write in English in order to process documents.
