Seeking skilled Freelance Stenographic Court Reporters, this remote contract position will capture and document legal proceedings, ensuring the delivery of accurate transcripts in ASCII and/or RTF format according to client specifications. Key responsibilities Record complete and accurate transcripts of legal proceedings using advanced stenographic methods Ensure final transcripts meet high standards of accuracy and formatting, delivered in accordance with client templates and style guidelines Manage and organize notes while handling sensitive information securely and professionally Required qualifications Proven experience as a Stenographic Court Reporter Ability to deliver transcripts in ASCII and/or RTF format Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures Certification or licensure as a court reporter Access to necessary technology for remote work and audio recording
