Paramedicine / Nursing Shift In Acute Care
Valley County Health System is currently seeking a qualified candidate to work a Paramedicine / Nursing shift in Acute Care. This position is full-time working 36 hours per week on the night shift. Qualified candidates must have 5 years of Paramedic experience.
Responsibilities of the position include:
- Performing patient care in an efficient and effective manner
- Collaborating with Medical Staff, management, and other healthcare providers to coordinate medical management of patient care
- Performing emergency and inpatient treatment as needed
- Demonstrating efficient time management and accurate documentation
- Promoting and ensuring patient and staff safety in all aspects of responsibilities
Requirements:
- Graduate of accredited school of Paramedicine
- Currently licensed in the State of Nebraska
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS. TNCC certification required and can also be provided on-site
- Ability to multitask
- Well organized and detail oriented
- Experience with documenting in an EMR is preferred but not required
