Nurse Practitioner - Observation Unit

TeamHealth has a full-time opportunity for a physician assistant (PA) or nurse practitioner (NP) to join our team in the observation unit of the emergency department (ED) at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Stockton, California. Observation Unit Details 24 hours of advanced practice clinician (APC) coverage with 12-hour shifts. Fast‑paced unit working in close collaboration with the emergency department, consultants, support staff, and administrative physicians. Cases include cardiac, neurological, surgical, medical, trauma, overdoses, and some psychiatric disorders. 24/7 supervising physician oversight, on‑site emergency physician and hospitalist in‑house coverage. Requirements Two years of clinical experience in emergency medicine (EM), hospital medicine (HM), cardiology, or critical care. ACLS certification. Not accepting new graduates at this time. Compensation Competitive compensation with an estimated base salary range of $95 to $95 hourly, with the opportunity to earn incentives. California Applicant Privacy Act: #J-18808-Ljbffr
