Below are some of the responsibilities of a Cocktail Server:

1. Greet guests with a friendly acknowledgement. Assess, anticipate, and promptly attend to guest needs or concerns in a courteous manner.
2. Take and serve beverage orders accurately and monitor responsible alcohol service to guests.
3. Prepare and mix drinks as needed or necessary.
4. Operate and clean all equipment in service stations, including beverage dispensing systems and coffee machines.
5. Use a point-of-sale (POS) system to accurately enter orders, dispense correct change, and process credit card and other payment transactions.

What you need:

1. Excellent communication, hospitality, interpersonal, and math skills.
2. Attentiveness and patience for guests.
3. The ability to successfully achieve Responsible Alcohol and ServSafe certifications within 90 days.
4. The ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts, including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

1. A high school diploma or equivalent.
2. Six months of previous high-volume alcohol serving and cash handling experience.
3. Responsible Alcohol and ServSafe certifications.
4. Some drink knowledge
5. Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
