Veterinary Technician Lead

Are you a motivated, experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician who enjoys leading a team, solving challenges, and helping a clinic run smoothly? We are seeking a lead veterinary technician to join our team and play a key role in supporting both patient care and staff development. This position is deal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can confidently delegate responsibilities, mentor team members, and professionally navigate challenging client interactions while maintaining a positive clinic culture. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and daily guidance to the technicians and assistant team. Delegate tasks efficiently to ensure smooth clinic workflow Assist in handling and de-escalating difficult or upset client situations with professionalism. Support training and continuing education initiatives for the technicial staff. Work alongside management with select supervisory and operational responsibilites. Maintain high standards of patient care, treatment protocols, and medical record accuracy. Collaborate with veterinarians and leadership to improve clinic processes and team performance. Qualifications Current Licensed Veterinary Technician Credential in VA. Prior leadership or senior technician experience a plus. Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast paced environment. Passion for mentoring team members and promoting professional growth. Commitment to excellent patient care and client service.
