General Cleaner Job Details:

Are you someone seeking a position with independent and solitary working conditions, with stable hours and pay? We are seeking enthusiastic, friendly, and caring employees to provide janitorial services for our clients' offices in the Lynchburg area. This position requires flexibility with afternoon and evening hours. Availability of the individual will be between the hours of 1pm and 9pm Monday through Friday. There may also be opportunities for picking up weekend hours as well. Typical shifts will be 3 - 4 hours in length.

• Location: Lynchburg, Virginia
• Pay: $15.00 per hour
• Hours: 3 - 4 hours per day, Mon - Fri between the hours of 1pm - 9pm. Approximately 15 - 20+ hours per week.

Job Duties:

• Consistently provide a clean, secure, and safe environment for the occupants of the facility
• Perform cleaning tasks which will include Trash removal, vacuuming, dusting, mopping and restroom cleaning.
• Effectively and cost-efficiently execute the cleaning plan for the building.
• Work productively with your service master team members.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through prompt responses to customer requests and concerns.

Job qualifications:

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Education and work history that demonstrates work ethic and responsibility.
• Ability to communicate effectively with client contacts, building occupants, and coworkers.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and as a contributing member of a team.
• Strong work ethic and a can-do attitude are necessary to get the job done.
• Physically able to be on your feet the entire shift and perform all tasks, which include walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, crouching and lifting.
