Data Scientist (Optimization - Gurobi)

Role: Data Scientist (Optimization - Gurobi) Level Required for Primary Skill: Intermediate (3-5 years experience) Location: Dallas, TX (Onsite) Duration: 6+ months Pay rate: $51/hr. on W2 Note: 45 hours a week (9 hours /day) PLEASE NOTE: NO OVER TIME for 45 hours / week We are seeking an Optimization Developer with experience in AWS cloud technologies to design, build, and support optimization solutions for complex supply chain problems in the automotive domain. The role involves working with large-scale operational data, developing optimization models, and deploying scalable cloud-based applications that improve planning, logistics, inventory, production, and network efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop optimization algorithms and decision-support solutions for automotive supply chain use cases.
• Build scalable applications using AWS services and cloud-native architecture.
• Analyze business problems in demand planning, inventory optimization, production scheduling, logistics, and network flow.
• Translate supply chain requirements into mathematical models, heuristics, or optimization frameworks.
• Integrate optimization engines with data pipelines, APIs, and enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with supply chain planners, operations teams, data engineers, and product stakeholders.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Strong experience in software development and optimization problem solving.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, ECS, EKS, RDS, DynamoDB, or SageMaker.
