MRI Technologist
Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation or prescribed radiofrequency beams for radiologic diagnosis and / or intervention and utilize magnetic fields to produce quality MR imaging. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.
Require Registered, American Registry of Radiologic Technologist MRI (R)(MR)(ARRT) certification and active State of Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license. OR Require graduate of an accredited American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist ARMRIT) certification program and Registered, American Registry of Radiologic Technologist MRI (MR)(ARRT) certification.
BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR
As part of Sarasota Memorial Health Care System's commitment to keeping people safe, all individuals providing care to vulnerable populations are required to undergo background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
