We're looking for dependable and safety-focused individuals to join our team as an Order Picker Forklift Operator in a large agricultural parts distribution center. Unlike traditional pick-and-pack warehouse positions, this role involves operating an order picker forklift at elevated heights to retrieve parts and materials from warehouse racking systems.

Shift: 1st Shift

Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Overtime: Mandatory overtime as needed

Operate an Order Picker Forklift for a large portion of your shift

Work at elevated heights while retrieving inventory from warehouse racking

Use RF scanners and warehouse technology to fulfill orders accurately

Equipment-focused position with forklift training opportunities

Not a traditional pick-and-pack warehouse role

• Operate an order picker forklift to retrieve inventory from elevated warehouse storage locations
• Safely work at heights while selecting parts and products from warehouse racking systems
• Use RF scanners to locate, verify, and process inventory
• Sort products and place them on designated pallets for shipment
• Transport materials throughout the warehouse using material handling equipment
• Pick and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Load and unload semi-trailers safely as needed
• Label, palletize, and stage products for shipment
• Support inventory control and warehouse organization efforts
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety and quality standards

• At least 6 months of warehouse, distribution, or material handling experience
• Comfortable working at heights on an order picker forklift
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs when required
• Experience with RF scanners or similar warehouse technology preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Comfortable standing and moving throughout the shift
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary

This position is based in a large agricultural parts distribution center that handles everything from small boxed items to large machine components. Employees spend much of their day operating an order picker forklift at elevated heights , retrieving products from warehouse racks, and using RF scanners to ensure inventory accuracy.

Success in this role comes from working safely, paying attention to detail, and maintaining quality standards. While some picking and material handling are involved, this position is best suited for candidates who enjoy operating warehouse equipment and are comfortable working above ground level.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rock Island, IL.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
