About the Role:
Join the Dairy Queen team in Mount Vernon, GA, as a Cook! This exciting role offers a chance to work in a fast-paced environment, serving delicious treats and meals while leading a dedicated team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service while making orders.
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Dairy Queen standards and recipes.
- Lead and motivate team members during shifts to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and dining space.
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment.
- Handle customer complaints and ensure satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a fast-food or quick-service restaurant is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Leadership experience or potential in a team setting for shift lead position.
- Must be at least 16 years old; higher age may be required for shift leader role.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Passion for food and customer service.
