(USA) Freight Flow Associate

Position Summary: Sam’s Club assigns the Warehouse Associate position to support operations. Responsibilities include ensuring safe forklift operation, inventory management, providing member service, maintaining safety protocols, merchandising, and supporting club pick‑up orders. Responsibilities • Complies with company policies and ethics, applying Open Door Policy action plans. • Operates forklift safely to pick up, move, place, and position merchandise pallets. • Completes work assignments, prioritizes tasks, collaborates with managers, coworkers, customers and partners, identifies priorities, deadlines, and expectations, and reports progress. • Receives, organizes, and manages stock and merchandise from distribution centers and suppliers. • Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, and guiding them in self‑service technology and purchasing decisions. • Maintains facility safety, conducts safety sweeps, follows forklift spotting procedures, and handles hazardous materials per company guidelines. • Maintains sales floor and merchandising presentation, including zoning, stocking, rotating merchandise, and ensuring prominent display of promotional and seasonal merchandise. • Manages club pick‑up orders by assisting with picking, staging, and audits for accuracy. • Handles inventory operations: moving, displaying goods safely, tracking, maintaining instock levels, controlling shrinkage, and reporting poor inventory practices. • Operates and maintains forklifts in safe and correct ways; reports unsafe conditions. • Proactively identifies customer technology needs and provides assistance. • Exercises respect for the individual, embraces diversity, builds trustworthy relationships, mentors colleagues, and acts with integrity. • Delivers results focused on customer satisfaction, makes decisions based on reliable information, balances priorities, and supports continuous improvement. Compensation Hourly wage range: $19.00 to $27.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage for the job location. Additional compensation may include premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Benefits Health benefits including medical, vision and dental coverage.
