CNC Mill-Lathe Machinist-2nd Shift

Duties / Responsibilities Setup, Load, operate CNC machines to produce tools/dies Retrieve CNC programs and load to the machine Knowledge of Master CAM Operate other machine tools like lathes, grinders, drills, and mills Setup die blocks on machine beds Setup cutters in holders and adjust height and length Use various hand tools to finish parts and check Use measuring devices like micrometers, calipers, to ensure specifications are met Sharpen cutting tools Operator maintenance tasks like oiling, greasing, and cleaning the machine (5S) Use forklift or crane to store and retrieve tools/die assemblies Read drawings/prints to identify operations, specifications, and tolerances Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Requirements Education and Experience High school or equivalent (Required) Tool Maker 3 years (Required) Apprentice certification or Journeyman license (Preferred) Physical Requirements Ability to lift heavy weights, bend, stoop and perform repetitive tasks Ability to work in various conditions such as extreme heat and noise level #J-18808-Ljbffr Bharat Forge Aluminum USA, Inc.
