Student Graphic Designer Love design? Want real-world experience while you’re in school? The Southern Regional Extension Forestry Office (SREF), located in the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources, is looking for a student graphic designer to join the team. In this role, you’ll work on a variety of creative projects and build hands-on experience designing publications, websites, fact sheets, marketing materials, and more. It’s a great opportunity to grow your portfolio while supporting projects that make an impact across the southern forestry community. Duties & Responsibilities Create multi-concept diagrams, banners, and marketing materials – 50% of time. Design & redesign partner websites – 40% of time. Social Media Posting – 10% of time. Relevant / Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification Proficient in InDesign and Illustrator (or in training). Knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel). Work independently and communicate effectively with partners. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies Create multi-concept diagrams. Create banners and marketing materials. Design & redesign partner websites. Light Social Media Posting. Physical Demands Computer work. Lifting of printed materials.
