Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Preoperative Registered Nurse (RN) for a day shift position at a facility located in Dallas, Texas. This role involves supporting adult day surgery units with responsibilities including Meditech electronic medical record documentation, IV starts, and preoperative patient care. Candidates must bring their license on the first day of work.

Job Details:

• Location: Dallas, Texas
• Schedule: Days, 4X10 shifts from 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid license as a Registered Nurse (RN), BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, experience with Meditech electronic medical record, IV starts, and day surgery
• Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric experience and pre-admit testing experience
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information:
  • Self scheduling is permitted with flexibility to accommodate unit needs
  • Must work two Mondays and two Fridays per schedule period
  • Inclement weather shifts are required
  • No weekend or on-call shifts are scheduled for this position
