About the Position

This position requires strong clinical skills and knowledge in cardiac procedures. Responsibilities include monitoring and managing patients undergoing cardiac interventions. The nurse will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide optimal patient care. On-call duties will be required for this position. Procedures performed may include angioplasty, cardiac stent placements, and catheterizations. The nurse will be responsible for administering medications and monitoring the patient's response. Skills in interpreting dysrhythmias and managing procedural sedation are essential. Experience with infection prevention practices and safety protocols is necessary. Effective communication with patients and their families is crucial for education and support.
